She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Nikolas and Magdalena Nikolas (Krumm); her son Kelly; her siblings, Joe Nikolas, George Nikolas, Mary Ochs, Blondie Derzab and Betty Farthing; and her grandson Carter.
She is survived by: her former husband Harold "Gene" E. Lux of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter Shari (Scott); her daughter-in-law Patti; her husband Jon Mesmer; her children, Luke, Jenny, Sam, Kristie Bohnenkamp (Scott) of Keller, TX, Jeff Lux (Sally) of Aberdeen, SD and Brian Lux (Lois) of Webster, SD; and her grandchildren, Nik, Anna, Joy, Tanner, Spencer, Josh, Amanda and Jared.
