Evelyn J. Grieben Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 89, Evelyn J. Grieben of Aberdeen, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottfried and Fay (Hamilton); her husband Darwin Grieben; her son Doug; and her siblings, Gloria Hinz and Dale Hilgemann.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Grieben of Sioux Falls, Steve Grieben (Paula) of Aberdeen and Mike Grieben (Kelly) of Aberdeen; her grandson Mitch Grieben (Alex) of Aberdeen; her great grandchildren, Parker and Ryker of Aberdeen; and her siblings, Ralph Hilgemann, Gerald Hilgemann and Connie Hilgemann.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (624 N Jay St, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to your charity of choice.
