It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Mae Vilhauer of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Besler and Magdalene Besler (Rosin); her husband Calvin Vilhauer; her daughter Lorraine; her grandson Sheldon Vilhauer; and her siblings, Emma, Edna Roth, Helen Fogelquist, Mary Oyler and Gottlieb Besler.
She is survived by: her children, Violet Vilhauer, Gilbert Vilhauer (Kay) and Alton Vilhauer (Tonya); her grandchildren, Anthony Vilhauer, Sarah Vilhauer (Steve Tabara), Celeste Smith (Jacob), Ashley Vilhauer and Caleb Vilhauer (Jessalyn); her great grandchildren, Jacob Smith and Aiesha Smith; and her siblings, David Besler, Marvin Besler (Alice), Ervin Besler (Kathleen), Samuel Besler, Arthur Besler (Alice), Herbert Besler, Ernest Besler (Verna), Richard Besler and Martha Skinner.
