With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Maye Nehls of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Bureau, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Woolley and Vivian Woolley (Stocking); her former husband Dale Bengston; her son Mark Bengston; and her siblings, LaVern Woolley, George Woolley and Beverly.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Nehls; her daughter Teresa Tucker; her sister Ethel Marie Leisz (Jim); her stepchildren, Ronnie Nehls and Shelly Steiner (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Syhre and Rose Tewksbury. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
