He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brown and Hazel Brown (Klapperich); his sister Leone Brown (Henjum); his son Larry; and his brother-in-law Melvin.

He is survived by: his brother Marvin Brown (Doris); his wife Ruth; his children, Margaret (Ron), Michael (Trish) and David (Barbara); his grandchildren, Brandon (Randi), Alyssa, Josh (Megan), Jordan (Scott) and Jonathan; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Bailey, Kamden, Kendall, Dez, Rue, Ashyr, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Natalia, Drayden, Kingston, Quinn and Madden.
