With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward Bohlander of Aberdeen, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edward left this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bohlander and Mary Bohlander (Heimbuch); his wife Marilyn Theresa Raba; and his daughter Sandra. He is survived by: his sons, James Bohlander (Paula) of Douglas, WY, Dan Bohlander (Michelle) of Douglas, WY and Alan Bohlander (Rickie) of Britton, SD. He is also survived by two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1112 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Dacotah Prairie Museum in Aberdeen.
