He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Don; his uncle Ralph Rogers; his children, Neil (Janet), Pam Helling (Paul), Paula Hier (Scott), Chris (Pam), Matt (Penny) and Melanie; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron, Kati, Jenny, Abby, Sam, Garret, Michelle, Claude, Sara, Shane, J. D., Kari, Jory, Emily, Lee, Ally and Adam; his sons, Donnie Vetch and Curtis Schmuck; and his grandson Derek.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Rieck-Morgan American Legion Post #137 of Warner.
