He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swearingen and Anne Swearingen (Wilson); his wife Fern Bairey; his siblings, Albert "Ole" Swearingen (Marion), Howard "Dutch" Swearingen (Pat), Ellen Bernard (Johnny) and Elma Danielson (Kenneth); and his nephew Jason Bairey.
He is survived by: his son Kaven Swearingen (Donna) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his granddaughters, Kess and McKenzie Swearingen. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
