It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dean Robert Rasmussen of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sr. Rasmussen and Veda Rasmussen; his wife Judy Brede; and his siblings, Harry, Dale Rasmussen and Noreen Dwyer.

He is survived by: his friend Cenex; his children, Doug (Jennifer), Jay (Brenda) and Dawn Rasmussen; his grandchildren, Eric, Logan, Payton, Megan Rasmussen, Alex and Breleigh Brester; his great grandchild Faith Rasmussen; and his sister Genevieve McMillan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church and the Salvation Army.
