Boekelheide of Aberdeen, South Dakota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Milda Boekelheide; his brother Arlyn; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Boekelheide and John Swanhorst. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Markuson; his children, Greg Boekelheide (Ellen) of Northville, SD, Dan Boekelheide (Dwight Stewart), Kerry Boekelheide (Donna K.) and Mark Boekelheide (Diane); his grandchildren, Andrea Seeley (Darin), Ryan Boekelheide (Matt Haglund), Amanda Boekelheide, Alex Boekelheide (Jenna) and Rachael Langbehn (Carter); his great grandchildren, Mara and William Seeley; and his sister Donna Swanhorst.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials which will be distributed to their favorite charities at a later date.
