He is survived by: his wife Gayle Nelson; his children, Jenilee Madetzke (Kyle) of Baltic, SD, Todd Nelson (Renee) of Hudson, WI, Matthew Nelson (Lesley), Brandon and Jarad Nelson; his siblings, Lorna Gross (Rolly) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lynnette Farlow, Lori Burggraff (Lloyd), Union, Lisa Rydell (Rollie) and Danny Nelson of Egan, SD; his mother-in-law Irene Sponheim of Aberdeen, SD; and his brother-in-law Mark Sponheim of Renner, SD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
