It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David A. Heier of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Heier and Alphina Heier (Petrich); his aunt Irene Schliebe; his siblings, Richard, John Heier and Cathryn Campton; his siblings-in-law, William Campton (Cathryn), Marcus Solmes, Sr. (Joann) and June Heier (Richard); his nephew Marcus Solmes, Jr.; his great-nephew Gabriel Mallay; and also, Arwen Mallay and Christopher Casey.
He is survived by: his sister Joann Solmes; his sister-in-law Lynn Heier (John); and his nieces and nephews, Doug Monzat (Terri), Jackie Nibbelink (Perry), Tom Campton, Carla Crutchfield, Brenda Zablockis (John), Faith Mallay (Nathan) and Melody Lindberg (Trevor).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dr. Seth Mallay, Family Physician, serving as a missionary in Togo, West Africa, (David's great nephew).
