It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Tschappat (Aberdeen, South Dakota), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gienger and Anna Maria Gienger (Feickert); her husband Clifton J. Tschappat; her son David; her grandson Jeremy; and her daughter-in-law Diana.
She is survived by: her children, Geraldine McIntire (Lowell) of Aberdeen, Cheryl Wagoner of Paris, IL, Dallas Tschappat (Pat) of Warner, Norman Tschappat (Diane) of Leola and Wesley Tschappat of Jones, MI; her daughter-in-law Karen Tschappat of Oakes, ND; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon and Esther Gienger. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
