It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie H. Mitchell of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Mitchell (Marvin); his wife LuCille Knecht; his father Alex Mitchell; his siblings, Marvin Mitchell (Mildred), Mary Jensen (Glenn) and Boyd Mitchell (Daisy); and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Knecht (MarGarett), Frances Smith (Wendell), Howard Knecht (Helen) and Gordon Tunby (Maryellen).

He is survived by: his uncle Dr. Murphy; his children, Dennis Mitchell (Laretta), Marcy Stenseth (Carroll), Curt Mitchell (Paula) and Carson Mitchell; his grandchildren, Tammy Allen (Rich), Trish Rodahl (Trent), Tara Ihde (Troy), Christopher Komomua (Monica), Lara Gengerke (Shawn), Sarah Sever (Trent), Mallory Mitchell and Alex (Rachelle Dohman); and his great grandchildren, Gia Gengerke, Jasmine Gengerke, McKenna Ihde, Ethan Gengerke, Taylor Ihde, Derick Allen, Clara Komomua, Olive Sever, Nora Komomua, Mackson Dohman and Owen Sever.
