It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Dallas Bohnsack of Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bohnsack and Alice Bohnsack (Krohn); his son-in-law Herman Aufforth; his mother-in-law Nella Ross; his brother-in-law Milan Olson; and his pet Brinkley Dallas.
He is survived by: his cousin Brian; his children, Beth Aufforth of Bowbells, ND, Bruce Bohnsack Jr. (Kathy) of Discovery Bay, CA, Becky Krueger (Dwight) of Kent, MN and Bonnie Bohnsack of Washburn, ND; his grandchildren, Brian Aufforth (Teri), Joy Beard (John), Molly Peters (Kellen), Jeff Bohnsack (Jen), Rob Bohnsack, Josh Krueger (Lacey), Seth Krueger (Margaret) and Emily Bogenreif (Joel); his great grandchildren, Haley Sekora, Camden Aufforth, Zackery Beard, Amelia Peters, Theodore, Penelope Bohnsack, Luka, Ella, Thomas, Issac, Chace Krueger, Annabel Krueger, Bentley Rasmussen, Rowan Zach, Jack and Brady Bogenreif; his wife Sharon Roberts; his stepchildren, Brian Roberts (Vicki) and Vikki Munro (Shannon Weltikol); his stepgrandchildren, Britny Joachim (Issac), Jamie Wohl (Taryn Thorstad), Elizabeth Rommesmo (David) and William Roberts; his sister-in-law Marlys Olson; and his nephew Michael Olson.
Bruce would help his cousins, Brian and Ryan Bohnsack every year with planting and harvesting until Parkinson's slowed him down.
