He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Zinter and Anna Marie Zinter (Gebhardt); his wife Esther Zinter; and his brother Donald Zinter. He is survived by: his children, David Zinter (Rhonda) and Susanne Morlock (Mark); and his grandchildren, Kiel Zinter (Heather), Kevin Zinter (Savannah), Michael Zinter, Stephanie Hansen (Flemming), Melanie Jacobson (Steve), Tom Zinter (Megan), Chrystal Watkins (Kyle) and Steven Morlock (Sara).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A prayer was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St Paul's Lutheran Church - Aberdeen (214 7th Ave SW, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
