She was predeceased by: her father Cecil W. Grandy; her husband Glen Bain; her mother Lucy Jennie Grandy Biegler (Hedges); and her siblings, Glenn Grandy, Ray Grandy, Dr. Paul Grandy, Harold Grandy, Helen Schulz and Dorothy Kensler.

She is survived by: her children, Byron Bain (Nancy) of Webster, SD, Nancy Swanson (Bob Bray), Owen Bain (Jacki) and Colleen Schlomer (Danne); her grandchildren, Tammy Day (Mike), Tracy Dolney (Andy), Travis Bain (Shala), Jenifer Garrett (Lonnie) and Jayson Swanson; her great grandchildren, Michael, Mara Day, Dylan, Kaden, Taryn Dolney, Brody, Anders, Callan Bain, Cason, Colin Ringgenberg, Vera Swanson, Cassidy, Leah Gough, Camryn, Andrew Bain, Jack, Tyler, Ella Bain, Ariah and Bode Ritter; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Kyla Melchizedek and Nova Garrett; her sisters, Patricia Harrison (Francis) of Fargo, ND and Mary Jane Kabrud; her siblings-in-law, Mae Grandy of Tempe, AZ, Marilyn Grandy and Lee Bain (Zelda) of Mentone, CA; and her close friends, Jeff and Tonya Zinter. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
