He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Jung and Emma Jung; and his brother Melvin. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Gutjahr; his children, Doris Jenkins (Dwight) of Boise, ID, Jean Volk of Hutchinson, KS, Dale Jung (Sherry) and Roscoe; his grandchildren, Lori Parks (Brandon), Julie Archer (Chad), Lisa Miller (Peter), Shane Jung (Brittney) and Carly Handt (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Darby, William, Brittany, Olivia, Ava, Emma, David, Owen, Valerie and Hayden; and his brothers, Leo Jung (Lorraine), LeRoy Jung (Peggy) and Ben Jung (Betty).
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
