She is survived by: her parents, Frank J. Bleick and Alvena Bleick (Schomer); her spouse H. J. "Doc" Christen; her daughter Dianne Helfinstine (Lonny) of Aberdeen, SD; her stepson Arden Christen (Joan) of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jeff Odell, Jan Hugh (Chris) and Cyndi Bishop (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Cody Fipps, Ashlyn Bishop and Andrew Bishop.
