He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Heupel and Magdalena Heupel (Bertsch); his wife Violet Heupel; his siblings, Edwin Heupel (Theresa), Ted Heupel (Viola), Adolph Heupel, Theophil Heupel (Bertha), Herbert Heupel (Lillian) and Edna Helfenstein (Walter); and his brother-in-law Clarence Bender.
He is survived by: his daughters, NyLetta Valer (Donald) and Cherrolaine Heupel; and his sisters-in-law, Sadie Bender and Adeline Heupel.
