He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl K. Hoffman and Margaret Hoffman (Rath); his former wife Janice Hoffman; his siblings, Albena Kempf (Ervin) and Alma Bauer (Herbert); and his brother-in-law Melvin Morrison.

He is survived by: his former wife Janice Pitkin; his wife Marilyn Fauth (Beck); his children, Todd Hoffman (Valerie), Mark Hoffman (Kim), Scott Hoffman (Tammy Carlson), Tim Hoffman (Puma), Jon Hoffman (Sara), Vicky Hoff (Mel), Steve Fauth (Monica), Pat Fauth (Patty) and Paul Fauth (Kristin); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Mikayla, Megan (Chris), Andrew (Lexi), April, Josh, Monty, Clayton, Krysta, Akyra, Alex, Austin, Aubri, Khale and Tahia; his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Ella; and his sister Eldora Morrison.
