He is survived by: his parents, Billy James and Mae Oria Powell (Lindsay); his wife Terry Ellis Powell; his children, Jessica Martin (Isaiah), Chip (Paula) and Isaac Powell; his siblings, Andrena Powell-Baker, Andre Powell and Adam Powell; his uncles, Eugene Lindsay and Rev. Cardell Lindsay; and his aunt Frances Powell Pratt. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (301 E Liberty St, York, SC 29745). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Hopewell Baptist Church (8375 Lockhart Hwy, Sharon, SC 29742).
