She was predeceased by: her parent James Roland Kirby; her husband Kenneth Robert Kirby, Sr.; her son James Patton "Pat" Kirby; and her siblings, Fred Kirby and Doris Hughes.
She is survived by: her parent Martha Othella Norrell; her children, Marilyn Kirby Young of York, SC, Ken Kirby (Althea) of Vincent, OH and David Kirby (Janice) of Little River, SC; her grandchildren, Ken, Laura and Carla; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Kasey and Kayla. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
