It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Wright of York, South Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Ella Mae Wright; his brother Robert Wright; his niece Lamise Byrd; and his sisters-in-law, Laura Smith and Laura Wright.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Wright; his granddaughters, Brittny Wright Turbeville (Trey) and Alexis Raymond; his brothers, William Wright and Eugene Smith; his nieces and nephews, William Wright Jr., Wendell Wright, Jarmont Smith, Eugene Smith, Malcolm Wright, Maleek Wright, Tamika Byrd and Shariffa Byrd; and his sister Genia Valentine. He is also survived by other loving nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
