She was predeceased by: her husband Sanford "Sam" Jacobs; her parents, J. W. Bolin and Carrie Bolin; and her siblings, Dan Bolin, David Bolin, Ben Bolin, Joe Nelson Bolin, John Bolin, Charles Bolin, Ruth Sanders and Marie Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Jacobs, Renee Mullins, Carol Robinson and Rebecca "Becky" Mead; and her grandchildren, Danny Mullins (Harmonie) of York, Brad Mullins (Monica), JJ Mead of York, Stacy Robinson of York, Christy Adams (Derek) of Noblesville, IN, Lycrecia Jacobs of Sharon, SC and Lori Robinson of York. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley Jacob's name to Providence Care Hospice, 500 Lakeshore Parkway, Rock Hill, SC, 29730.
