He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelley James Stewart, Sr. and Nora Jane Whitt Stewart; and his siblings, Dottie McCarter and Bainard Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Christine Hartness Stewart; his daughters, Elizabeth S. Schrum (Darrin) of York, SC, Nora S. Ricks (Clay) of York, SC and Laura Stewart of York, SC; and his sisters, Gay Feemster (Sam) of Bullocks Creek, SC, Bertie Boyd (Frank) of Indian Land, SC and Pat Mellon of Rock Hill, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church (1184 N Shiloh Rd, York, SC 29745). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
