He is survived by: his parent Elsie Brindle Garvin; his wife Marguerite "Marge" Southworth Garvin of York, SC; his daughters, Barbara Willis of York, SC and Phylis Yates of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Kathryn Lapham of York, SC and John Schudel of Woodstock, GA; and his sister Rebecca Brazell of York, SC. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
