He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Samuel Allen, Sr. and Lorraine Long Allen Thornton; and his brother Reginald Reade Allen (Angela Graves Allen). He is survived by: his children, Michelle A. Taylor (David) of Sallisaw, OK, Jennifer A. Duke (Hank) of Clover, SC, Jeffrey Allen (Stacey) of Greenville, SC and Drew Leilich. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and four bonus grandchildren.
