He is survived by: his parent Katherine Hawkins Goode; his wife Kathy Elaine Garvin Goode; his sons, Corey Patrick Goode and Michael Stephen Goode, Jr.; his stepsons, Richard Moore (Jennifer) and Eric Scott Moore (Olivia); his grandchildren, Shawn Goode, Nathan Moore and Katelyn Moore; and his siblings, Kenneth Goode, Jeff Goode and Coleen Autry.
