He is survived by: his parents, Michael N. Carpenter and Diane Neil Carpenter; his sister Olivia Mitchell; his grandmother Willie Mae Neil; his aunts, Linda Harrell (Jerry) and Pam Perkins (William); and his cousins, Kristin Harrell and Blake Perkins.
