She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavinia Jackson Brown and Samuel L. Brown. She is survived by: her husband Harold Dean McCarter; her sons, Kevin McCarter (Susan) of Charlotte, NC and Jeff McCarter (Andrea) of York, SC; her adoptive son Buddy Conners (Summer) of Conway, SC; her brother Dave Brown; and her grandchildren, Abbe, Ele, Ben, Haden, Melia, Valor, Autumn and Ariah Conners.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Oakdale Presbyterian Church (12585 State Hwy 55, Clover, SC 29710). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the same location.
