She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Battle Sr. and Fleter Adams Battle. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Sullivan of York, SC and Cheryl Patterson of Philadelphia, PA; her grandson Isaiah Sullivan of Charlotte, NC; and her brothers, Arelester Battle of New Bern, Richard Battle, Jr. of New Bern and Kevin Battle of New Bern. She is also survived by nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (550 NC-55, New Bern, NC 28560). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Macedonia M. B. Church Cemetery (550 NC-55, New Bern, NC 28560).
