She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Covington and Dora Covington; her brothers, Cecil and Walter; and her husband Kell Rodgers.
She is survived by: her children, Dee Carpenter (Tim), Scott Goins (Susan) and Lynn Smith (Luke). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one sister, and 4 brothers.
