It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph W. Costner Sr. of York, South Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Rebecca and Kenneth Wilbur Costner; his sisters, Frances Costner Closner, Patsy Costner Norman, Nancy Costner Earndhardt (Burt) and Linda Costner Shytle; and his nephew Tony Ray Earnhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen; his children, Joe Costner Jr. (Brenda Halsey) of Rock Hill, SC, Bebbie Baker (Michael) of High Point, NC and Barbie Kolatis (Michael) of Fort Mill, SC; his sister Carolyn Lewkowicz Costner of Beech Island, SC; his grandchildren, Eric Baker, Alex Costner (Jordan), Blake Costner, Belle Kolatis and Parker Kolatis; and his great grandchild Kielan Costner.
