He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hunter. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Brice and Hub Hunter; and his children, Nancy Hunter Feemster (Jimmy), Betty Hunter Mosley and John Holland Hunter, III (Gloria). He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
