He was predeceased by: his father Elbert "Ebb" Lee; his wife Carolyn Gross McDaniel; and his sister Janet Finch. He is survived by: his brother Wayne McDaniel (Sandra) of York, SC; his nephews, Jonathan McDaniel (Maggie) and Travis McDaniel (Jennifer); and his niece Amanda McDaniel.
