She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Edward Cartee, Sr.; her parents, Lawrence E. Ramsey and Evie Mae Steadman Ramsey; her granddaughter Candice Vess; and her daughter-in-law Kara Cartee.
She is survived by: her son Gene "Dozer" Cartee of York; her grandchildren, Charles N. Cartee (Sarah) of Highland Falls and Kira N. Cartee of Gastonia, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Moses, Jack Cartee, Anastasia Cartee, Liam Cartee and Owen Cartee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pollard Funeral Home (115 York St, Chester, SC 29706). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the LakeviewLakeview Memory Gardens (1774 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745).
