It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Bennett (York, South Carolina), born in Monticello, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Marvin Bennett and Grace Waits Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Bennett; his grandson Trey; his granddaughter-in-law Erica Barnhill Childers of Gaffney; his great grandchildren, Marah Childers and Branton Childers of Gaffney; his sister Nell McRae of Charlotte, NC; his uncle Tommy Bennett (Eleanor) of Mauldin, SC; and also Mark Bonney of Lake Wylie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
