He was predeceased by: his son David Martin "Marty" Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Emily Smith Sutton; his sons, Carl W. "Chris" Sutton, Jr. (Debbie) of Charlotte, NC and Kevin B. Sutton (Shelley) of Hickory, NC; his daughter-in-law Lynn B. Jones (Joel) of Clover, SC; his grandchildren, Jeremy Sutton (Jenny), Joshua Sutton (Christina), Kayla S. Lassiter (Taylor), Savannah Sutton, Garrett Sutton, Pierce Sutton and Falon Sutton; his great grandchild Annabelle Sutton; and also, Molly Sutton and Rose Mary Sutton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
