She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Alvin and Sarah Hazel Moore Smith; and her brother Leonard A. Smith, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Clyde Billy Metcalf; her children, Darlene M. Gardiner (Gary) of York, SC and Mick Metcalf (Alicia) of Iron Station, NC; and her siblings, Rodney A. Smith of Whitsett, NC and Glenda Mae Newell of Westwood, MA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
