She is survived by: her family Shirley Temple Ackerman; her husband Earnest "EJ" Brown; her sister-in-law Queen Ester; her cousin Marie; her children, Ernest Brown (Ellen) and Shelia Bell; her stepdaughter Rhonda Mitchell; her niece Gloria Jean Robinson (Jacob); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sheldon Brown, Dwayne Brown and Ortagus Bell of Yemassee; and her brother Oscar Ackerman (Sharleen). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; forty- six great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
