She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurie E. Crosby and Margaret Crapse Crosby Long; her brother Michael Gainey; her stepfather Charlie Long, Sr.; and her husband Joel Rutland.
She is survived by: her sister Brenda Heffner of Yemassee.
