She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Greer O'Brien and Gwendolyn Crosby O'Brien; and her brother Bruce O'Brien. She is survived by: her son Edward Patrick Boatwright (Stephanie Hawkins) of Yemassee; her grandchildren, Kayle Ginn, Lily Boatwright and Connor Boatwright; and her siblings, Steve O'Brien of Yemassee, Diane Ford of Georgia and Kathy Dixon of Walterboro.
