She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Smalls and Elizabeth Smalls; her husband Elijah White, Jr.; and her sister Carrie Bell Chisolm. She is survived by: her children, Fitzgerald Lewis Ocala (Patty) and Vonzetta Mitchell Estill (Kenneth); her grandsons, Nolan C. Robinson and Elijah S. Roberts; and her siblings, Bennie Smalls, Jr. (Gloria Jean), Kenneth Smalls and Josephine Mitchell (Seymour) of Yemassee. She is also survived by grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
