With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Nix (Yemassee, South Carolina), born in Hampton, South Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Nix of Washington and Ella Nix of Oregon; his wife Ann Elliott Nix of Yemassee; his children, Jerra Thomas (Seth) of Hendersonville, Stephen Henson (Ann) of Yemassee and Mark Henson (Jennifer) of Leesburg, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Maveric, Ashlee, Hunter Bartlett, Andrew, Rachel and Taylor.
