She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. William Robert Hicks and Mary Jewell Hicks. She is survived by: her husband James M. "Jim" Eberhardt; her children, Melanie Bagwell (Brian), Brian Eberhardt (Eve) and Maria Cook (Brandon); and her sister Linda H. Floyd (Sam). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
