He was predeceased by: his parents, Deloris Waddel and Robert McMurray; his sister Sue Williams; his son Billy Wayne Jr.; his half-brother Jackie Heddleston; and his stepson Jeremy Simmons.
He is survived by: his stepmother Jeanette McMurray; his wife Janie McMurray (Bishop); his sons, Patrick McMurray (Bonnie) and Gabe McMurray (Hope); his stepson Darren McAbee (Patricia); his siblings, Robert McMurray, Kenneth McMurray (Jerdie Simon) and Judy Pafford (Joel); his stepsister Linda Black; his half-siblings, Joey Heddleston and Sandra Jackson; and his daughters-in-law, Tina McMurray and Misty Hewitt. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
