He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks Sosebee. He is survived by: his children, Darvin Dwayne Hicks "Kato" of Woodruff, Bobby Hicks of Spartanburg, Darlene Swihart of Johnson City, TN. and Deborah Bright of Cowpens; his grandchildren, Tasha Bright, Christina Erwin, Steven Bright and Trevor Swihart; his great grandchildren, Aidan Bright, Addison Phillips, Peyton Bright, Willow Bright and River Bright; and his great great grandchildren, Ryland Bright and Alice Bright.
