Terry Wayne Hammett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Wayne Hammett (Woodruff, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Terry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Charles Hammett and Clemis Edwards Hammett; and his sister Donna Hammett Tooker. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Butler Hammett; his children, Charles Ryan Hammett (Rachel) of Spartanburg and Rachel Hammett Vizcaya (David); his grandson Elias James Vizcaya; and his brother Charles Anthony Hammett of Laurens, SC.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews on his wife.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any honorarium or memorial be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
