He is survived by: his wife Julie Phillips Cook; his children, Kenny Hoffmaster (Unsuk), Terry Cook (Angie), Tom Barry, Donnie Barry and Brenda Spurlin; his siblings, Ralph Cook (Rachel) and Ruth Steinspring; his grandchildren, Julieann Ramirez (Sergio), Douglas Szczesny, Angela Barry, Ann Barry, Sara Dwyer (Jack), Sam Hoffmaster, Amber Barry, Tiffany Barry, Carolyn Huggins and Eli Cook; and his nephews, Anthony Hoffmaster (Catherine) and Timothy Hoffmaster (Ala).
